Good morning and welcome

I am Giusy and I manage a small building composed of 2 mini apartments and a double room on Fisherman’s island ( Isola dei Pescatori ), Lake Maggiore.

The main season to visit Isola Bella, Isola Pescatori and Isola Madre starts on the 22nd of March and ends on the 20th of October, during this period the museums and gardens of Isola Bella and Isola Madre, the botanical gardens of Villa Taranto (Verbania), the zoo of Villa Pallavicino, the Adventure Park (Feriolo di Baveno) and the Monastery of Santa Caterina del Sasso (on the Lombard shore in the municipality of Leggiuno) will be open to the public.

Isola Pescatori

However it is possible to sleep on Isola Pescatori, in our apartments and room all year round. The island exerts its charm even in winter , especially for a romantic trip or just for a short period of intense relaxation. Sleeping in Stresa, and in particular on fishermen's island, in fact, guarantees a stay free of any night-time noise, ideal for relaxing and combating city stress.

During the opening period of the islands, on the fishermen's island, you will find lovely restaurants with terraces on the lake front open at midday and in the evenings. During the day there is also a characteristic market selling typical products.

 

Our price

Our prices, valid all year round, are as follows:

  • Sunday night to Thursday night from euro 90,00 for 2 people
  • Friday and Saturday night from euro 100,00 for 2 people.

In the above prices, there is also a round trip transfer from Stresa ( Piazzale Lido ) to Isola Pescatori with the Isole Borromee public boat service.

Our apartments and room were renovated in the winter of 2011, they are equipped with central heating and air conditioning. The two mini apartments are composed of a kitchenette, equipped with kitchenware, oven, refrigerator, sofa bed, TV, radio and all have an independent bathroom with towels and a shower.

We accept small animals.

The room price does not include breakfast.

Check-in must be done before 17:30 and for unjustified delays an extra charge of 20 euros will be applied.
